We are delighted to announce the call for proposals for the bi-annual Conference of the school improvement and policy section (KBBB) of the German Educational Research Association, endorsed by the International Congress for School Effectiveness and Improvement (ICSEI). The conference will take place at TU Dortmund University, Germany, from 10 to 11 September 2026.

The conference‘s focus lies on a highly relevant topic: "Reframing Leadership for School Improvement. Roles, Relationships, and Responsibilities in a Demanding World". The event will bring together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers in an international context.

Submissions from these groups are welcome in English and German; the submission system is open until February 15, 2026.
